Introduction
To improve the thermal performance of solar heating systems, PCMs can be used as an effective tool. To clarify future research directions, this study first analyzes the heat transfer process of solar-thermal conversion and then reviews solar-thermal phase change composites for high-efficiency harnessing solar energy. The focus is on enhancing heat abs rption and conduction while aiming to suppress reflection, radiation, and convection. Investigations into the use of phase change materials in solar applications for the purpose of storing thermal energy are still being carried out to upgrade the overall performance.
